Sports Car Blatting in France

BLAT (v BLATTING); An excursion in a vehicle for the sole purpose of deriving enjoyment from driving the vehicle. This pastime is usually partaken in a sports car by people who are slightly unbalanced and spend extraordinary amounts of money on these cars and blatting.

Situated in the Loire Valley, La Foie is Lynne & Norman's home which they bought from Lotus 7 Club member, Richard-in-France. Richard is famous in the club for making carbon products for 7's

We are just north-west of Angers, north-east of Nantes and south-east of Rennes. We are on the border of Pays de Loire and Brittany. The farm is known as La Foie. The weather is usually a nice 25 - 30 something rather than to sweltering 40+ you can get further south.

La Foie is a small 9 acre farm with old houses (the oldest is over 270 years) and barns. We have no neighbours and the only noise to be heard (apart from the occassional tractor) is the birds. 

We have 2 gites, the Lotus Suite and the MG suite.

Each gite has bedding, towels, shower gel, soap, shampoo. The kitchen area's are fully equipped, However, most visitors eat at the restaurants on the recommended list. A 3 course meal and a bottle of wine for 2 will cost about 65€ at our favourite local restaurant. There are cheaper restaurants to enjoy. 

Everything is planned to allow sports car owners to travel to La Foie with only clothes and a toothbrush (and if you forget the toothbrush we have some). You can even cut down on clothes as we have a laundry room for washing and drying.
